Nationality / Citizenship

Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

1. Citizen of India: Native of India.
2. Subject of Nepal/Bhutan: Recognized as subjects by the Government of India.
3. Tibetan Refugee: Came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanent settlement.
4. Migrants of Indian Origin: From Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam) intending to settle in India permanently.

Candidates belonging to the latter three categories must produce a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Age Limit
1. For Central Water Commission and CPWD: Up to 32 years.
2. For other departments: 18-27 years.

Age Relaxation:
1. SC/ST: 5 years
2. OBC: 3 years
3. PH: 10 years
4. Ex-Servicemen, Central Govt. employees, etc.: As per government norms.

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must have:
